Finá Lowman

Finá Lowman is a children's book author who has a passion for art and writing creative stories about family dynamics, building friendships, unity, and love. Her first book, Liah and Otto: My brother and Me, was created to provide a different story about blended families. Finá, growing up in a blended family herself, and battled with racism at an early age, wanted to show children that love comes in every color.

She enjoys diverse characters within her books. Currently working in an elementary school as a Family and Community Support Service Provider, Finá has her bachelor's degree in Business Management and pursuing her master's in School Counseling.

"I have a passion for creative arts. Drawing and writing are a great deal of enjoyment and relaxation for me. My children inspire me daily regarding writing, and when it comes to my art, I am inspired by world events, other artists, and letting my mind be creative."
